Drawings, Timescales and Construction.

We have a dedicated team of design engineers. This company is DG Design Associates, their engineer, with 27 years design and build experience, will call, measure your home, discuss your requirements, and provide a drawing for your approval, you can if you wish make alterations, our aim is to design your new room/s to your specifications, this is the first stage in bringing your dreams to Life!

Timescales,

When you contact our office or surveyor direct, an appointment will be made within 7 days to visit your home, daytime or evening, to determine suitability. Our Engineer will discuss possible options, materials and will also provide you with a scale floor plan, and estimated cost TOTALLY FREE.  You will have been left paperwork to go to the drawing stage, and a clear explanation of fees and costs.

Drawings,

If you decide to progress to the drawing stage, our Engineer will arrange to call again, measure your home, and begin to prepare the drawing. Drawings are usually ready to view within 4 weeks, this is again done in your home at your convenience. If you are entirely happy with the proposal, we can submit for planning, (not always required)  which takes approximately 8 weeks to approval, and Building regs, approximately 4 weeks. On approval, we can move to construction.

Construction,

An average loft conversion takes 5 weeks, a dormer can take 8 weeks, we work from a scaffold, and the staircase is the last major item to be fitted. In this way, we keep the disruption to your home, to a minimum.

Costs,

Prices start from £560, for a basic 3 bed semi or terrace property locally, rising to £760 outside our area, and regardless of where you live, you will get the same attention to detail, guaranteed!
